- For packages containing liquids in receptacles of 1 liter or more
- For dangerous goods packages
- For packages that require the product to be upright
How should orientation arrows be marked?
- The arrows should be red or black on a white or contrasting background
- They should appear on two opposite vertical sides of the package
- They should be legibly marked
- They should be rectangular and clearly visible
- They should be underlined and optionally enclosed in a rectangle
